Hi! I'm new to the Travel Forum. I'm booked on the RS Heart of Ireland Tour (7 days) in August. At the tour's conclusion I plan to visit family in Dungarvan (about 2/3 of the way to Cork). What kinds of public transportation are available?

Assuming the tour ends in Dublin then Dublin Coach have service #600 every 2 hours direct to Dungarvan in 3 hours, or there is Bus Eireann #40 hourly from both Cork and Waterford, every hour (train from Dublin Heuston to either city).

The town lost it's railway station in 1967.
