Hello
Staying in Dublin for 2 nights. Any recommendations for a first time visit ? Our college age children will be with.
Thank you
I'd love to hear suggestions as well. We have 3 nights coming up in June. The only place on our list so far is the Boxty House that we saw recommended on Somebody Feed Phil and are curious about.
We enjoyed Searson's of Baggot St.
We really enjoyed the Brazen Head (recommended in RS). They have a folklore/history/storytelling/trad music + dinner that we made a reservation for. It was a very traditional Irish meal.
Thank you
We had a tasty soup of the day for lunch at Brazen Head, and a delicious dinner at Darkey Kelly’s. Another lunch recommendation is Davy Byrnes, but be there when the open at 12pm, otherwise you might have a long wait. One to avoid is the Church Restaurant, high prices for mediocre food (lamb stew was served barely above room temperature).
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Bank on College Green which, as the name implies, is a beautiful old bank that has been converted into a restaurant/bar.
