Matt the Thrasher for seafood was fun. Murphy’s Ice Cream is wonderful!
Old Mill Bar in the Temple Bar area.
We went to Temple bar, of course, it was lots of fun.
We also went to Matt the tresher, thanks for suggestion, we loved it.
Sussex restaurant was also wonderful.
Thanks
Maria
The Brazen Head…while it can be quite full and touristy (because of its age and reputation), we had an excellent seafood chowder and an incredible Guinness beef stew. Cozy and fun!
The Bank was a personal favorite. The Church had fun entertainment but The Bank had better food. Those are the two dining locations that really stick out in my mind. We visited a few pubs just for drinks but nothing particularly memorable.
For restaurants, we enjoyed Mr. S. The food was excellent, the best on our 10-day trip. I would recommend booking well in advance to get one of three tables on the lower level, where it's quieter than the bar atmosphere on the main level. For a pub, the Church was unique in that it's actually a converted church. Our lunch there was tasty, but you could also just go for a pint.
We liked Searson’s. Great food. Lively atmosphere. Treated us well. Try the lamb.
