Dublin Neighborhoods

Hello, I will be on my first overseas solo adventure in June starting in Dublin. I'm looking at airbnb and wondering if there are any neighborhoods to avoid for a female solo traveler. Any recommendations are welcome on specific places as well, I don't plan on staying in Dublin but a couple of nights before heading to Cobh and perhaps Galway before returing to Dublin for my flight home. I only have 7 nights to work with and I'm well into my 40's so not looking for a party scene.

We stayed at Ariel House B&B in the Ballsbridge neighborhood of Dublin and it was lovely. Just a short Dart to downtown area and this is a working class neighborhood, it was nice to see all the people walking in the am to catch the bus or train on their way to work.
