Dublin Leap Visitor Card

I am looking into purchasing the Dublin Leap Visitor card. Has anyone had any experience using it? I will need it for Wed, Thur and Saturday so I would need to buy three single tickets. I also will be using one way for the Aircoach 700. I wish they offered etickets. Has anyone bought this ahead? Debating on this but could go to the Spar store at the Dublin airport.

How do you use it. Do you scan it when entering and exiting bus, tram etc

I have the regular Dublin Leap card since I bought it for a 3 week stay in a Dublin suburb. It's easy to purchase at the airport and easy to use. You only need to touch on the validator on buses, but you touch both on and off for trams and the DART. Much easier than buying tickets. The Visitor Leap card is basically the same.
