Dublin Itinerary - Comment please!

Hello! I will be meeting my soon to be college grad daughter in Ireland after her 5 week European trip. Here is what I have so far:

Day 1 - arrive in Dublin in the evening
Day 2 - explore Dublin
Day 3 - Pick up car and drive to Kinsale - explore sights along the way and overnight in Kinsale at the Old Presbytery B&B
Day 4 - Drive to Kilkenny - explore area and spend night in Kilkenny
Day 5 - Drive to Dingle - spend 2 nights in Dingle
Day 6 - Dingle
Day 7 - Cliffs of Moher, maybe the Burren stay in Ennis or Doolin?
Day 8 - Galway
Day 9 - Galway to Dublin
Day 10 - Dublin
Day 11 - Fly home

What do you think of this itinerary? Am I missing something fantastic?
Thanks! Gay

Do you really mean Kilkenny on Day 4, or do you mean Killarney? (My parents mix them up all the time.) There is more to see around Killarney, and it is on your way to Dingle. Kilkenny is the other way. Otherwise, I think your trip looks fine. Do you plan to go to Kinsale via the Rock of Cashel?

If it was up to me, I would start day two in am driving and then piece Dublin last two days together. Just my opinion. Also much prefer staying in Doolin or Lisdoonvarna rather than Ennis. Ennis to me is a small town but the other two are what I would call villages which we prefer. In Dingle, highly suggest Celli Breach B&B, not sure of spelling but it is my favorite after five trips to Dingle. I love the balcony on second floor to make my own tea in room and watch sunrise or sunset. Be sure to stop off at the Stonehouse restaurant on Slea Head drive. Totally made of stone, even roof, great soup, donkeys in front and you can walk up hill to go inside a beehive hut for about a euro. In Dublin our favorite by far is Kilmainhaim Gaol. Whatever you do, you will really enjoy.

I agree with Gail. Logistically it might be easier to do Dublin on the tail end and just get out into the countryside first off. Other than that, it looks fine.
