Dublin itinerary: 2 or 3 days?

Working on a potential itinerary for trip to Ireland and looking for feedback on number of days to spend in Dublin. Assuming I fly into Dublin, and have a list of sites that are must see for me:
1. National Museum of Archeology and the Natural History Museum
2. Guinness Storehouse
3. Kilmainham Gaol
4. Dublin Castle
5. Grafton Street and St. Stephen's Green
6. Dublin Zoo
7. Dublin music pub crawl

My plan for the 1st day, after arrival,
is to get to our lodging, somewhere close to city center, settle in and recuperate from the flight. With this list and figuring in a little time for aimless wandering, could this be done at a relaxing pace in 2 days following the day after arrival in Dublin? Also, I would be either walking or using public transport. Also, excluding the Guinness Storehouse, where should I go for my first pint on Irish soil? Slainte!

You also should add day tour(s) to Brú na Bóinne and Trim Castle. You can sign up for tours at the visitor center.

I would put the Gaol at the top of the list. You do need tickets beforehand. We did not enjoy the warehouse at all, felt it was a waste of time. If you do go try to go on a clear day to enjoy the views from the Gravity Bar. We enjoyed walking around the city and also seeing the GPO. another site we liked very much was Christchurch Cathedral. I think.three days is better for a relaxing visit. Enjoy your trip.

Yep, I've read mixed reviews of the Guinness Storehouse, so will put it on the "maybe" list. My interests lean towards historical sites, so would also like to see the GPO and other sites related to the 1916 Rising. Thanks!

Hi from Wisconsin,
Better than the Guinness Storehouse is Gravedigger's Pub circa. 1833. Look it up. It is a bus ride to get there being near the National Botanic Gardens and Glasnevin Cemetery. You can find famous people there, the cemetery that is.

Here is a simple walk to take you past a few places of note: From St. Stevens Green, and do walk around while considering that part of the Green is a garden for the blind. From there walk down Grafton St. to the statue at its foot and meet Molly Malone. Watch for the old Parliament building on your left and Trinity College to your right as you head toward the O'Connell St. Bridge. Go into the grounds of Trinity College and look for the Henry Moore sculpture in the Library Square. Cross the bridge and work your way up O'Connell St. looking for the Grand Post Office (look that up too). On a street behind the GPO is Moore St. Market. Returning to O'Connell St continue to the top where the Peace Park offers a place to sit and rest your feet.
