Hi all. I am looking for reasonably priced accommodations in Dublin in September for three nights at the beginning of our trip. I would like to be near everything but I’m willing to take public transportation in if it’s easy and quick. Hotels seem pricey and the ones that are reasonable don’t have the best reviews. I don’t need luxury, just clean and safe and not ancient. In addition, at the end of our trip we will need a one night stay back in Dublin before flying out, so I was thinking about staying near the airport our last night. Any recommendations? Thank you in advance.
We stayed at Ariel House B &B. It is a bit out of the city center, but is in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. It also included breakfast.
Thank you for your response. They were sold out during our dates.
We liked Tinode House on Upper Drumcondra. It was easy to take the bus into the city center. A couple of good pubs/restaurants within walking distance.
What is your budget?
We stayed here on our last trip http://www.leesonbridgehouse.ie/ and can recommend it.
Reasonable rates, very nice rooms, and a pretty good breakfast as I recall. It's a level half mile walk to St Stephen's Green and Grafton St., and the bus stop for the Airlink coach to the airport (7 Euros) is right in front - took about 25 minutes to get there. Couldn't have been easier.
Thank you everyone for the responses. We found and booked a place.
