I will be spending 4 nights in Dublin and want to be sure to get a nice hotel. I am willing to spend up to $300/night and my only criteria are that it be in a good central location and that I can book a room with twin beds. I have booked Albany House but am not sure how nice it is. Any advice will be much appreciated.
I really enjoyed the Spencer Hotel. We could easily walk to Temple Bar and other central locations but it was also quiet at night.
Thank you Sharon.
When we went to Ireland we arrived in Dublin a day earlier than expected and got a room at Albany House. Loved it. Had there not been a cancellation penalty at the other hotel (Trinity Lodge) we would have stayed there the entire stay. Albany House was half the price of the other hotel. The main sights in the city are close by; just on the other side of the park. Grafton street is a five minute walk from the hotel.
That is wonderful news. You have set my mind at ease. Thank you.
Albany House is nice and in a central location. Try Delahunt on Camden for a delicious dinner, it's cozy and right around the corner.
Really appreciate your input Dancv. Makes me feel much better about my choice.
