I MIGHT be in Dublin for a week next week. If so,I will need lodging. Nothing too fancy, just clean and decent location. Chains not out of the question.

The UK chain of Premier Inn have several properties in the City. For Dublin they are quite keenly priced.
The Ibis out at the Red Cow is often well priced as well. Yes it's edge of the city but is on the LUAS line for swift transit into the city and 3 buses an hour from the Airport to the Red Cow. It is my first choice for Dublin if the price is right.

I just recently booked at Buswells ( I have not stayed yet). They have single rooms and the hotel is centrally located. Near Trinity College.

Buswells was the first place I tried. They have no openings.
