Hi all, we’re 3 adults traveling to Dublin/Galway 6 days /7nights in mid July. Planning to take a train to Galway for 1-2 days, during the international arts festival. (we’re not renting a car).
We would love tips for walking tours, outdoor ideas, local cafes, local bookstores, anything off the beaten path…
Any suggestions for island tours to see puffins would be greatly appreciated!
Would also love to spend some time in peatland reserve!
Here’s a less requested travel tip- we would love to try a local Pilates or yoga type studio. I know there are 100s but if you know of any “stand out” in Dublin or Galway, please let me know;)
Thank you!!
You may be able to see puffins on Ireland's Eye, reached by boat from Howth, an excellent day trip from Dublin with a cliff walk. https://www.irelandseyeferries.com
I found this seafront yoga class on AirBnB Experiences: https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/4882116?location=Dublin%2C%20Leinster%2C%20Ireland¤tTab=experience_tab&federatedSearchId=5d15f131-f579-4e13-bad1-f5a672f0cc65&searchId=5f1bcff4-3920-47b1-bce0-f2ef78bbbc06§ionId=fa8f5bc8-6564-4813-b90f-d46dcaada4ae
AirBnB is a great source for all types of tours.
