We are planning some time in Dublin, as part of a longer trip, sometime in September. We are in our early 60s. I am wondering how much impact this fringe festival has on Dublin in terms of crowds and the age of visitors. Is it a great addition to the scene or kind of a two week public party well-attended by young fringers as the one in Edinburgh is? We love an active vibe but not so much when it slides into near chaos. We can work our visit around it. I am looking for someone who has first hand information so I know if we should.
