Would anyone be able to recommend a place in Dublin to get the required covid testing before returning to US. We are staying on Gardiner Street.

I can't recommend (or not recommend) any of these, but here's one, here's another, here's another, here's a list provided by the US Embassy, and here's the embassy's own website re Covid. Your hotel would doubtless have good information. Also, this company offers tests at Dublin Airport with a one-hour turnaround.

Another option to consider is buying these and taking with, https://store.optum.com/shop/products/abbott-binaxNOW-COVID-19-ag-emed-at-home-test-kit-2-pack/. My wife, son, and I are going in June and this is the option we are using. Then we can do it in our hotel room the day before and not worry about scheduling issues and getting to some specific location at a specific time. Recommend getting an extra or two just in case.
