Dublin Bus

Hi.
Traveling to Dublin in about 3 weeks and trying to figure out the buses. There will be 7 of us staying in Dublin for a week. 3 adults, 4 children. A family rambler ticket seems good for a day of travel (since we won't be on the bus every day necessarily) but unclear how many kids per ticket. The way I understand it, i can buy a leap card at the airport and have the rambler ticket put on the leap card? Then when I board the bus, we touch it to the (something?) and all of us can board? Or perhaps we need 2 rambler tickets. Anyway, any explanation would help. I've been to the bus website but the explanation about the family rambler wasn't clear to me.

thanks,

A family rambler used to be 2 adults and up to 4 children, but although the fare type is still sold, this information doesn't seem to appear any longer in the online literature. You load this onto the leap card at any Leap Card outlet. You may find that travel credit works out cheaper overall for a whole week period, particularly if this co-insides with the capping period of Mon-Sun.
