Is either Dublin Express or Aircoach a good way to get to Buswell’s? Can’t find a route map that shows what stop we need to take, and how far the walk to the hotel would be. Traveling in late March, Best of Ireland in 14 days tour. Thanks.
We look the Aircoach to Buswell's a few years ago, and it was a very short walk from the Kildare Street stop (Apple Maps shows 2 minutes.) The bus was comfortable and easy to find from the airport baggage claim area. Just to be certain, you could email the hotel and ask them to confirm. Also, when you get your tour guidance from RS prior to your trip, it should give you very specific information on how to get from the airport to the hotel most easily.
Thanks for the reply. Sounds like that will be fine, but will wait til RS does give us specifics.
Yep— The Aircoach stop on Kildare Street is two blocks from Buswell’s Hotel on the corner of Kildare and Molesworth Streets.
A taxi is a good option if you don't want to wait for the bus. That's what I did.
As Carrie said, a taxi to Buswells is a good choice, too. The Dublin airport bus area is well organized and close to the terminals but after a long flight from the west coast, through LHR in our case, it was nice to pop into a cab (bonus that our taxi driver was a historian as well!) and also no worries about where our bags might be on the bus. The cost was about €25.
