Dublin Airport, Hotel with 4:00 a.m. shuttle?

I am trying to find a hotel near the Dublin Airport that has a 4:00 a.m. shuttle service...my international flight departs at 6:15 a.m. Any suggestions? Are cabs available that early? Otherwise I will have to stay in the airport for a 14 hour layover...is that even possible?
Thanks!

The Premier Inn Swords is an airport hotel with a shuttle that starts at 4:15 am. I've included info from their website. It is also a quick 5 minute cab ride if you choose to go that route. I stayed here and found it quite convenient to the airport.

"Dublin Airport Premier Inn operate a shuttle bus service every half hour between the airport and the hotel from 4.15am to 11pm. The bus leaves from the airport coach park (zone 16) on the hour and half hour, and returns from the hotel at quarter past and quarter to the hour. The shuttle services costs €2.50."

The Radisson Blu and Maldron Hotels both advertise 24-hour shuttles and are located on the airport grounds, minimizing your shuttle ride time. I've stayed in both and they are fine. Both are within walking distance to the terminals, the Maldron is probably a little closer.

If you are getting on an international flight, especially one to the US, getting a 4AM shuttle is cutting it close as you pre clear immigration in Dublin. Even so I would want to be at the airport no later than 3:30AM. I would stay at an airport hotel with 24/7 service.

Thank you everybody for this information! I feel so much better now :-) I couldn't specifically determine the 24/7 shuttle part of this from the various hotel websites.

Hi

We are spending two nights in swords but not at the hotels mentioned that have a shuttle.
I assume you have to be a guest but just checking. If not possible then it appears a taxi is 10 minutes and bus one hr. Quite a difference in time

Are those the only two alternatives?

Thanks

I'd like to second the Premier Inn in Swords. We had a rental car to return, which took about 6 minutes. We did see the shuttle. Good mattresses, too.

We just stayed at Clayton Hotel Dublin airport last week. They have a 24 hr shuttle that departs for the airport every 20 minutes. It’s a full size bus so less likely to fill up and have to wait for the next departure.
