Hi, in what order are the car rental lots at Dublin Airport when you leave the terminal to go to pick up the vehicle? From memory, I think Enterprise is the further away, as we had trouble with that booking when the wheelchair assistant left us at the shuttle bus pick up stop instead of going on into the covered lot in car park C (?) and my wife had great difficulty walking that far. We are coming over in March and want to know which rental company has their cars first, second, third, etc. along the lot as we will look at booking options in that order. Many Thanks!

Typed in Dublin Airport Car Rental.
Going counter clock wise looks like: Europcar, Budget, Hertz, Avis are close with Thrifty and Enterprise the furtherest away.

Thank you, Claudia, I appreciate you taking the time to look at this. When I type that in, it seems to bring up the car rental desks within the terminal, so I'm not sure if that's what you are seeing. I'm looking for the order of their places within the actual garage across the road from Terminal 1, when you follow the green painted line from there to the garage. So, which company section would we come to first, second, etc? It won't be an issue collecting the car this time as we know where the wheelchair attendant can bring us. It's more for walking back to the terminal when we return the car. The shorter the distance the better. Thanks again.

If I remember correctly, the shuttle service for the car rental company picks you up and transports you out to the car lot. And transports you back when you drop off the car. I guess I don’t understand why you would want to walk that far.

I think AVIS is the closest to Terminal 1 but haven’t been to Dublin Airport in many years.
I rented from Hertz and recall taking a shuttle.
Hopefully, another Forum member has a more recent experience to share.

I rented last May, and the cars are no longer in the parking garage. There may be some premium frequent renters still handled across the street. Everyone takes a branded shuttle, and it drops you off at their second counter. You can drive the shuttle route using Google Maps Streetview, but the order (as mentioned above) shouldn't really matter except when your returning the car.

Well, we were over last August and picked up and dropped off the car in the garage across the street. The girl at the rental desk in the terminal told us and the wheelchair assistant to exit the terminal and follow the painted green line into the garage across the street. The assistant missed the left turn entering the garage (where the row of shops are) and took us out to where the city buses pick up. On the way back, she asked another assistant and he took us back to where the rental buses pick up, which was not correct for us. My wife then ended up having to walk back into the parking garage and all the way through to the Enterprise section as I couldn't get the car back through the other company sections to pick her up. We did not have to walk half way to the city. So, to focus my question. In that parking garage (C?) the rental lots are in a specific order. Enterprise was way down at the far end. I want to know which company you come to first, second etc as you make your way through that garage, so that we can look at booking a car with a company that is closest to the terminal/row of shops. Thank you!
