My husband and I will be flying from Seattle to Dublin in late May. After our business in Dublin has concluded we intend to rent a car and head to the Ring of Kerry. My question is this; if we rent a car from either the Dan Dooley or ConnsIreland Dublin airport locations can we go directly to the car lot location or do we need to go to the airport terminal first?

I can't speak for the Dublin airport, but at the Shannon airport, we checked in with the inside terminal guy who didn't do anything, but send us to the outside car rental location. We also rented from ConnsIreland.

You can go right to the car rental place. No need to go to the terminal

Sharon is right. If you rent from Dan Dooley, go straight to their rental location. Going to the terminal first isn't needed, and will eat up lots of time. Have fun!!

We just did this Sunday...had the taxi drop us right at the rental lot. He seemed used to doing that and it was quick and easy.
