Dublin airport accommodation

Does anyone have a positive report to pass on re: accommodations at/near the Dublin airport? We will have any early departure for US, so shuttle service would be helpful.

We liked the Hilton and they provide a shuttle. I think they are about 4 miles from the airport. Our room had a king size bed, modern bathroom, nice bed linens, etc. There was an ice machine down the hall and it is possible to have a decent dinner in their restaurant. We also liked that there is a huge Tesco nearby. There is actually a hotel right at the airport but we stayed there a few years ago and the noise was horrific and the price of room higher than the Hilton. We had a very early departure as well and the hotel had the shuttle right there at the required time(very early). Just so you know, you will go through customs, etc. at the Dublin ap.

We stayed at Brewley's Airport Hotel, an Irish chain, twice. It's got shuttles to the airport, bars and restaurants. We had a view onto a horse farm across the road. Seemed to have a lot of groups one of the times.

Thanks to both of you for the feedback. Now I can work backwards to come up with an itinerary for a short five and a half days.

We also stayed at Bewleys a few years ago on our flights in and out of Ireland. We and family members coming in from 3 different locations, and departing to 3 different locations. The shuttles served us well with very late arrivals and very, very early departures. The breakfast was food-court style, and I seem to remember there being on "on the go" breakfast you could pick up for early flights. Rooms were standard. I would stay there again for the same purpose. We actually had an anniversary the night before our departing flights, and our kids treated us to dinner in Malahide, an upscale area not far from the airport.
