We are ending our two week trip with two nights in Dublin(May 25th and 26th) and driving from the west coast. We will have our rental so want to see if anyone has recommendations for hotels that are relatively easy to get to, can minimize our in town driving experience, and include parking. We are looking for prices below $300/night. Or, maybe return the car at the airport on our way in? Thank you.

You might check with booking.com. They have a filter for free parking. We’ve driven in Dublin and wasn’t something I would recommend if you don’t have to.

Turning the car in is a better idea, whether at the airport or some other location.
There is no "free" parking in any city. If there isn't a separate fee, it's because it's buried in the rate.

Do you need a car in Dublin? If not, wouldn’t it be cheaper to return it than having to pay two more days of rental? And if you’re coming from the southwest coast, you may be able to return on the south circular road. There are a number of agencies along there. You wouldn’t have to return at the airport.
