Dublin 3 days: freedom pass ticket vs. leap card

Hello! I will be flying to Dublin this Friday morning leaving on Sunday morning. So I do not have much time there and no plans yet.. so I need your help! I am interested in taking public transportation from the airport to Trinity college where I will be staying. I also would like to visit major attraction sites on Friday and Saturday by walk or using public transportation. My question for you, between 3 day visitor card (leap card) (19.4 euro + 5 euro deposit) and 3-day freedom ticket (https://www.dublinsightseeing.ie/FreedomTicket.aspx) for 33 euro that includes airport shuttle and hop on and off bus, which one would you recommend? Is it complicated to use Dublin public transportation? I was leaning toward the freedom ticket but just realized that it is sold in terminal 1 whereas I will arrive at terminal 2. Also, please note that I am not interested in buying Dublin pass that includes free admission for major attractions but I found them (the names_ are quite confusing..
Your advice or help would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!

Dear Ciaran,
Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it. I decided to go with DoDulin card and will just have to figure out how to purchase it in Terminal 2 (email was sent to them). If not easy, I will buy it online, print the voucher, and hopefully I can pick it up at Terminal 2. Thank you again!!

Your mileage may vary, but on our second visit to Dublin in 2016 (first visit was in 2015) I had significant difficulty getting the people at the airport Dublin tours desk to sell me LEAP cards rather than the Freedom Pass. I didn't have the name of the pass handy in my head when I went to the desk and he quoted me the higher price which I knew was too high, so I said I wanted the pass with transport but not the admissions to attractions. He didn't change his tune. I walked away and did a bit of research on my phone, came back five minutes later and asked the same guy specifically for the LEAP Pass and he said no problem and sold them to me.
