We are renting a car in Shannon when we arrive and will be dropping off when we get to Dublin (8 days later). I have three questions that I am needing help with:
1) We are a family of 4 and will have 3-4 suitcases. I am looking at a Ford Mondeo/Volkswagon Passat to rent (automatic transmission). Is this too big of a car? I know we can fit in a Ford Focus, but I'm concerned about having enough room for luggage.
2) When we get to Dublin, we are staying in the city center just north of Trinity College. Would you recommend dropping off the car at the Dublin Airport or somewhere in town? We will be arriving from the south. When we drop off the car, what is the quickest/easiest/cheapest way to get to our hotel?
