Driving to dublin from belfast

Where should we stay. Close to Dublin airport or west of Dublin. I was told not to drive in Ireland. Dropping car at airport.

Maybe if we understood why you were told not to drive in Ireland (did you mean you were told not to drive in Dublin?) we could advise where you should stay.

You don't need a car to get from Belfast to Dublin. Take the train, then taxi or shuttle into the city. Depending on your arrival time in Dublin (and the time of your departure...assuming that you're flying out the next morning) you can either stay in the city center or opt for a place with easier and quicker access to the airport.

We stayed right by the airport the night before our flight and it was easy to drop the car rental off and head back to the terminal.
I am assuming that you mean that you were told not to drive in Dublin.... we were told the same thing and picked up our rental on our way out of Dublin.. worked really well for us

have a great trip!

If you are spending time in Dublin you can drop the car at the north side of the city and taxi to your hotel
