Driving ROK and Dingle

I know that there are multiple stops on these loops and we are definitely going to take the time to stop.

What I was wondering is if I will know where to stop on each, like are there signs and descriptions OR do I need to research the crap out of where and when to stop and how to get to those stops along the way?

Thanks

Well, advance planning is always helpful - even if it's only to scan a reputable guidebook and highlight the sights along the way that most appeal to you. The street view feature on google maps can also help you get your bearings if you're at all concerned about specific areas.
That said, we're not exactly talking about major highways here. Both are rural, 2 lane roads, where the speed limit is slow enough to give you plenty of time to react if you see something that piques your interest.
Off of the ROK many here recommend the Skellig Ring - a short detour between the villages of Ballinskelligs and Portmagee. Terrific scenery, the Kerry Cliffs, a chocolate factory down the road, and no tour buses.

There are mainly just obvious pull offs to take a look at scenery....you'll see other cars there or the pull offs......and if you miss one turning around isn't a headache at all. For sights to see like Staigue Ring Fort there usually is signage but having a good driving app helps. It really is easy. No need to worry. Do leave time for stopping and enjoying the views etc. as trying to do so while driving is not the best approach. The roads are safe and easy to follow but do require concentration.

Do see the Skellig Ring....it's wonderful _ well worth the effort !!!!! It's right there ,!!!
