We plan to finish our visit in Killarney National Park late afternoon, then make our way over to Castlemartyr for the night.
Any thoughts on stops along the way? We are going the beginning of June, so plenty of day light hours.
Kinsale looks promising, but not sure if it worth spending less time in the park. Or, maybe instead of Kinsale, someone could recommend a restaurant in the Cork area.

Do you mean Castlemartyr? I can't find Castleartye. Assuming you mean Castlemartyr, I don't think it would be worth stopping in Kinsale just for dinner. Most of the restaurants are down by the water and would make for a fairly lengthy detour. (and parking would be hard). I tried to remember the name of the farm to table restaurant I wanted to go to outside of Cork but couldn't get a reservation. If I think of it I'll let you know.
We spent a night in Kinsale and spent a couple hours walking around Cobh.
