Drive from dingle to Dublin airport

We’re going to Ireland mid October, plan is train from Dublin to Galway (2-3 nights) then to rent car in Galway drive down to dingle (2 nights dingle) and then drive to dubLin airport for return flights . Is the drive from dingle to Dublin “worth it” and what driving route would folks recommend from dingle to Dublin airport. 1 way car drop off is expensive if we can even find it). The other option is to just pick up car at Dublin airport and drive to Galway.
Appreciate any ideas and recommendations

Just FYI... We did this trip 13 years ago with a small rental car. Longer than your planned trip. All nice country side and sea views. Went places no normal bus could go. Was really nice. Adventure tour for me driving on the wrong side of the road and shifting with my let hand. Oh and the roundabouts! It was fun. Some very narrow roads. Wet and windy then (Aug-Sep). My highlight was Great-Blasket Island (small boat there from the coast near Dingle). Kissed that daXn blarney stone too. Liked the ring forts, castle ruins and archaeological sights along with all the pubs. Best Lamb stew in Doolin. Whisky and brewery tours too. Go with the weather and don't delay.

Fly into Dublin
County Wicklow x 2 Nights
Wexford x 1 Night
Kinsale, County Cork x 2 Nights
Killarney, County Kerry x 2 Nights
Dingle, County Kerry x 2 Nights
The West Coast of Clare x 2 Nights
Dublin City x 3 Nights

Is this drive from Dingle to Dublin all in one day? That's a huge amount of driving. I found a 1 way rental with Budget pickup in Dublin and dropoff at Shannon and there was only a small difference in price. Don't forget gas is $8 a gallon!
When you are on the highway/freeway it is not that scenic in my opinion.
