Donegal, Derry, Coastal road drive then on to Belfast

Traveling in mid to late July and will be driving up to Donegal from Galway. So far we (4 adults) have this as our plan but really need some feedback regarding travel (time and distance between locations) from Castle Rock along coast to Giants Causeway and then ending in Belfast.
Arrive Donegal Town: Stay for 2 nights
Day 1 - stay around Donegal Town and see the sights go to pub relax
Day 2 - Donegal Tour - Slieve League, Ardara, Glenveagh National Park (all day private tour)

Day 3 - travel to Derry - stay in Derry do walking tour of the city (do I need more than one full day?)
Day 4 - Drive Inishowen Peninsula to Malin Head. (Has anyone done this drive? What is the ride like?)
Depending on the ride/length of time
A) Take Lough Foyle Ferry from Greencastle, Co Donegal to Magilligan, Co Derry: Find a place
To stay nearby.
B) Stay on Inishowen Peninsula and take Ferry in the morning and head on our way along the
Coastal route.
We would like to see Mussenden Temple, Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway, Bushmills, Cushendun
Are these sights do able in one day’s drive or do we need to break it up into 2 or 3 days?

Our final destination is Belfast where we will spend 2 nights. We are flexible with days and times and are used to doing a bit of driving we just like to break a long drive up with a less strenuous drive or a day in one location. We travelled the south west and east of Ireland at this type of a pace a few years ago.

Thanks for any and all feedback/suggestions!!!

The drive from Derry to Malin town is about 30 minutes, much of it very scenic. Some of that "scenic" is on narrow, hilly roads once you are off the coastal road. I love it (we have a house in Malin and go over every summer). It's another 15-20 minutes from Malin town to Malin Head. Be sure to drive up along the bay. I love (most of) that drive. If the weather is nice, on the way up, as you are nearing Five Fingers and just past Lagg Chapel (on the left), take the left up the (really narrow) road up to Knockamany Bends. The view from that small carpark up top is breathtaking. Be prepared for a lot of wind - there and at Malin Head. Have stop off at Farren's Bar while you're at Malin Head.

If you end up staying in Inishowen, you might check out Greencastle and Moville for options (I don't have any suggestions, sorry.) Depending on the time of year/weather, there is a lovely coastal walk between the two. Kealy's in Greencastle is a great option for food, as is Rosatti's (more casual) in Moville. Enjoy!
