I have an ATM-only card which doesn't have a chip. It only has a magnetic strip. Will this work in Irish ATMs or will have to get a debit card (which does have a chip)?

Yes, all ATMs still accept magnetic strip cards and that's expected to be the case for a couple of more years, at least. The important thing is that it's branded by Visa, MasterCard, or another widely used banking network.
