Dinner reservations Dingle Peninsula

We are walking to the Dingle Peninsula and it was recommended to make dinner reservations in advance. Is that necessary? If so, where you do recommend that we eat in the following towns: Tralee, Annascaul, Dunquin, Ballydavid, Cloghane, and of course, Dingle.

Chart House in Dingle is great. You need to make a reservation. Paul Geaney’s is good too. No reservation needed.

A second vote for Chart House! And definitely reservations!

Most restaurants in our travels were having staffing shortages and a few were permanently closed down, victims of Covid. We were there in May and it wasn't too crowded, but if you are going to be there in the summer months, I can only imagine it will be competitive for tables.

We were in Dingle two weeks ago and ate twice at the Fish Box. It is a small restaurant and they do not take reservations but the food and service were great!

Recommend "Out of the Blue" seafood house in Dingle. We ate there in 2019. Believe they take reservations, we walked in at 6 PM (old people you know), but the place was packed when we left.
