Dining Suggestions near DUB airport hotels

We will have a 24 hour layover (after a flight from the US) and be staying at a hotel near DUB. Is there a good way to get to the city center? Or other options for dining near the airport hotels?
We will pretty much be using this time to nurse our jetlag, but wouldn't be opposed to venturing into the center if it is reasonably easy to do. We have never been to Ireland, but know that someday we will on an extended trip so there is no need to pack in all the major sightseeing opportunities during these 24 hours.
However, we do love good food and are willing to have that be the main focus for our brief time on the Emerald Isle:)

...From where you can stroll around the Temple Bar area, St. Stephens Green, Grafton St., Trinity College, etc. There's a lot to see and do in a very compact area, and walking around in the fresh air (definitely) and sunshine (hopefully) will be the best way to deal with your jetlag. Then just hop on the Airlink back to the airport and your hotel.

Thanks for the shuttle links!
Any favorite (or at least reliable) restaurants you could recommend?

If you're looking for something more substantial than Pub Grub then I'd suggest looking at Trip Advisor...the map feature can be quite helpful for getting your bearings, and we've found that the ratings are usually pretty reliable.
