We'll be in Ireland in two weeks and I'd like to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday with a nice dinner in Kinsale. It will be on a Monday night when there is no group meal planned.

We enjoyed dinner at Fishy Fishy and if I ever return to Kinsale I will be going back. We made a reservation in the morning for that evening. We were traveling in late August 2022.

We were told Several of the Michelin star and 5 star spots are not open Monday & Tuesday that includes Fishy Fishy as we tried to make a reservation there- My advice find spots that are open by looking up 10 best restaurants in Kinsale - look each one up individually with the list- and the webpages let you reserve.
-it will stop you on days not open - we ended up hiring a local foodie tour instead with places that are open.

It's not a fancy place, but Kitty Ó Sé’s served me the best seafood chowder I've ever eaten. Smoked salmon, shrimp and mussels in abundance. If all else fails ...

Our family loved The Black Pig in August 2023. Our group of 9 had the back enclosed patio area to ourselves - so peaceful and relaxing. I made the reservation approx 2 months before we traveled. Enjoy!
