Dingle to Cliffs of Moher/The Burren

We will be spending two days in Dingle and when we depart there we plan to spend a day of our trip seeing the Cliffs of Moher and hiking in The Burren. I am trying to decide where to stay that evening. The following day we will be heading to Cong/Clifden and staying at the Ballynahinch Castle, but want somewhere in between to stay. Thank you for any suggestions on lodging or any other sights we should catch in this area!

One Rick covers in his guidebook that's well placed for you is the village of Doolin. He used to love it for the music scene, which has maybe gotten too touristy now, but it's still a fine location for a pub and a night's sleep after hiking.

Doolin is a great place to stay! And no, it's not too touristy.

Thank you for replies! Does anyone know anything about the Folk Festival in Doolin June 10-12? I have contacted the Doolin Hotel for info. We will be leaving Ireland on the 11th, but would love to catch a day of the festival if we could work it out.
