All of Slea Head Drive is famous for good reason.
For some things a little off the beaten path I'd suggest stopping by the pier at Dunquin - a very pretty spot to stretch your legs. Later you can see if you can find one of the famous postcards showing a flock of sheep being driven up the serpentine path from the quay.
A nice place to stop for tea and a scone a little further up the road is the Tig Aine.
The Kilmalkedar Church requires a slight detour off Slea Head Drive, but is another good place to stretch your legs away from the tourist hordes. There's been a church on the site since the 600's - the present church was built in the 12th century I think. Can google it to see if it might be of interest.
And if you've already mastered the terrors of driving on the left, a trip over the Conor Pass would be memorable...especially if it's raining.

Agree - Slea Head Drive is worth every second. Stunning. Blasket Centre is another great place to stop. Full of information and just a lovely walk around.
If you are staying in Dingle, take the walk from town to the light house. It was one of our very favorite things to do. We bought take-away lunch at the Super Valu in town, and had lunch at the light house. The views are just gorgeous. We walked beyond the light house and saw a cove with the waves crashing in - again, worth the walk.
Just walk around the town and DEFINITELY go the pubs! Goat Social was a great restaurant, as well.
Enjoy! We just returned and would go back in a heart beat!
