Dingle --- Great Blasket Island vs Sciuird Archaelogical Tours

With limited time (two full days, three nights), we have to make a choice between these two options because the schedules conflict.

We are doing the Dingle Peninsula one day and we have to choose one of these options for day two.

Which should I choose?

Tim Collins of Sciuird Archealogical Tours was the step-on local guide for our day touring the Dingle Peninsula on the Rick Steves' Best of Ireland tour in 2014. He was excellent. I would choose his tour over going out to Great Blasket.

I did not go out to Great Blasket but weather can be a factor in these trips. I did enjoy the really informative displays at the Great Blasket Visitor Center on the mainland.

We're driving the Dingle Peninsula on our own. Is the Sciuird Tour redundant or a duplication of Rick's Loop Trip? The tour is only 2.5 hours long. It doesn't seem like the entire peninsula could be covered in that time.

Granted, I'm certain the guide is a big value add.
