Is a day trip to Derry from Belfast via bus or train feasible? Thanks!

Yes you can get either the train or bus to Derry the train takes two hours and the bus takes an hour all Train and buses in Northern Ireland are operated by Translink (www.translink.co.uk) if you are using public transport alot in Northern Ireland I recommend that you purchase a zone 4 "I-link" card you can put a day a week or a months travel on them enabling you to use any train or bus anywhere in Northern Ireland (you cannot use them in Ireland which is a separate country) a week's travel costs £60.00 you can purchase them at train and bus stations and also at the Translink desk at visit Belfast
Remember NI is the UK so you'll need UK pounds not euro safe travels 🙂
