Day tour to Giant's Causeway from Dublin

There are 3 adults, and we want to tour Giant's Causeway from Dublin on Aug 7, 2017. I looked at group tours from a few tour companies, but I would love to find a private tour that is not overly expensive. Any recommendations for private tour or for a good group tour?

Thank you! I looked at both tour companies you mentioned. I would love to take a private tour so I could just go to Giant's Causeway and take the Black Taxi tour of Belfast. I don't want to waste time taking a photo of the exterior of a castle and stops with a group of people. It might be worth it to take the train to Belfast, then take the taxi tour and take a tour to Giant's Causeway then train back to Dublin. Does that sound like a good idea?

You probably couldn't do all of that in just one day. It's an hour and a half from Belfast to the Giant's Causeway if you drive straight there. By train from Dublin to Belfast is two and a half hours, and I think the earliest one is 7am so the earliest you would get there would be 0930. If you are going to join a day tour to the causeway you may have already missed it unless you can find one that just does a half day trip after lunch, or a private operator who would pick you up from the train station. I did a half day tour of Belfast city with a company that used small vans so there were only six of us on the tour. It was good, but I can't remember the name of the company. The Black Cab tours are a little expensive so it's best if you can split the cost with others.

Please post what you decide. We leave on the 7th and plan to do this trip on the 16th. Traveling with 2 adults and 2 teen boys (19 & 17). Our youngest actually turns 17 on the trip!

Everything I have read seems to point me towards Wilde Rover. Although they do a lot in Belfast, it actually makes the stop there worth it and the guide on the bus makes it more interesting. Just my thoughts.
Enjoy!
