I was wondering if anyone had any issues renting from Dan Dooley? I was considering renting from either DD or say Thrifty. DD is less expensive and has a 100Euro deductible. They do not have a SDW.
Thrifty has an additional charge of 16 Euro/day for SDW with zero deductible.

I did rent from DD, didn't have any problems.
It's been years, but I rented from Dan Dooley. There were no problems.
I originally booked with DD for our trip next month but was having problems reaching them to give them a credit card. Per a lot of postings here checked out Auto Europe (Hertz) and ended up saving about $100 for the ten days (and that includes the Super waiver/no deductible).

I was thinking of going with DD and after getting an initial quote from them I called to reconfirm the costs. Spoke with Jim, and to be honest he was not very helpful at all. He was very blunt and not caring to answer my questions. He couldn't get off the phone fast enough. I read a lot of mixed reviews about DD but they all seemed rather old so I thought maybe things had changed. He obviously didn't want my business. Maybe I got him on a bad day?
