Flying to Shannon for 8 dats in the sw corner.
My wife is a Crowley. We know there is the Crowley castle (ruins) in Ahakeera.

We would like to visit and photo but understand the castle is on private land, likely in a field of cattle.
I think we were almost at it last year, but the terrain blocked viewing/access.
We would like to contact the property owner/manager to ask permission.
Any idea how to contact property owner?
Is there a government agency that can give us that info?
Actually, the easiest option would probably be to just drive up, knock on the door, and explain the situation. The Irish are a hospitable lot and generally love visitors.
Wouldn't be surprised if the owner invited you in for tea and a long conversation to establish whether or not you're somehow related to each other.
Would have done that last year if I could have found what I thought was the house. Guess I might go door-to-door this year. At least I'll be back in Ireland!
