Covid test at Dublin Airport/Covid questions

We will be taking a trip to Ireland in July and flying back to the U.S. from Dublin Airport.
We plan to make an appointment with Randox Health Travel Center located in the airport for a Covid test the day before.
They show 3 different types of tests that you can make an appointment for: Next Day PCR Test (results by the next day), Express PCR Test (results in 1-3 hours) and Lateral Flow Antigen Test (results within 1 hour). Does anyone know if all three of these tests will satisfy the Covid test requirements for entering the U.S.? Trying to decide which one to make an appointment for.

Also, does anyone know what the quarantine requirements would be if someone in our group tests positive? Does Ireland let you make your own hotel reservations while you are quarantining, or do they have specific hotels you need to stay at until you get a negative test or certificate of recovery to return to the U.S.? Thanks for the assistance.

Lateral Flow Antigen Test is fine.

All covid restrictions in Ireland have been lifted. You are asked to self-isolate, but no one is going to be putting you in a hotel or even telling you that you must stay in hotel. They want you to limit contacts, wear a mask. That is it.

We just returned from RS tour of Ireland; get the lateral flow antigen test in Belfast, your tour leader can give you information. Results in 45 minutes and cost much less than the PCR test. Fulfills requirements.

Uh, the op reports he will be in Dublin the day before, not Belfast.

We did our test at the Randox across from T2 last month. No issues, appointments skipped the line. Results in about 25 minutes. AS we were staying at a nearby hotel with a shuttle, this was convenient. If you are in central Dublin you can save the back and forth with DoSafe 48 (www.gosafe48.ie), easy downtown location at Ormond Quay. Les expensive than Randox, and that would be fore you added bus to the airport and back.
