Cork to Galway with stay in Dingle?

We will be leaving Ballyvalone House in Cork with a two day space to work our way to Galway, where we will stay on Inis Mor from Rossaveal ferry. Is Dingle & anywhere else along way a good stopping off point on this jaunt? thanks!

Dingle is a lovely, vibrant town and an ideal stop for a night or two. Plenty of B&Bs, pubs, good restaurants and trad music opportunities. The Slea Head loop can be driven and explored in a few hours.
