Cooking classes

Has anyone ever included a 2 or 3 night cooking school in their itinerary? If you have, what, where, when and would you do it again . . .

I enjoyed a one-day cheesemaking class at England's School of Artisan Food, but if I had time I would have preferred the longer version, to go into more depth. They have other topics, too, and serve a nice lunch.

Ireland is not known for their cuisine! Kinsale is supposedly their idea of gourmet restaurants and we were not impressed. I would not spend my time adding a cooking school to my itinerary. Save that for a trip to Italy.

I haven't taken any classes in Ireland, but the Ballymaloe Cookery School is well regarded.

TravelBug,
Having been to Ireland many times, I find you are really out of touch. And on behalf of all Ireland, we are sorry you feel this way. But thank you for your response.
