My wife and I will be traveling to Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland next month. We will be bringing chargers for iPads iPhones, digital camera (with its own battery chargers), and electric shavers. We are from the USA. All chargers have North American 2 bladed plugs.
Will I need to purchase different plug adapters for both Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland (UK.?)
Thank you.
Just bought these for our trip in a few weeks

Thank you.
That adspter covers both Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland, correct?
This is what I ordered from amazon

Thank you. I ordered it.
Both the Republic Of Ireland and Northern Ireland use the same plug as Great Britain.
Thank you!
Len, the important part isn't only the two-bladed plugs. It's what's written on the charger or device. Almost certainly, all the digital devices say "100-240 V AC" on them. But look.
It's possible for an electric shaver to have a physical switch on it that has to be moved to the 240V position when in a 240 volt country.
Have you read our host's general comments?

Tim,
Thank you. I just read the info on the link you provided, Much appreciated,
I'm good to go, Ipad, digital camera charge are auto dual voltage. I checked my shaver and it does have a 110/220 switch on it. I'll be sure to switch it to 220 when I get to Ireland next month.
Regards,
Len
You are often better off to switch the shaver when you put it in the luggage and check it off the list. In a jetlagged state on arrival you might just forget.
Nigel,
Good idea. I'll do that.
Thanks!
