Conor Pass from Dingle to Tralee/ Doolin

We are driving from Dingle to Doolin tomorrow in predicted bad weather. Is Connor Pass worth doing in the rain?

We will do the Cliffs the next day when weather is hopefully better. Any ideas for things to do in the rain near Doolin in the day? Definitely know we'll pub hop at night to catch some trad music! Thank u!!

We enjoyed the drive over the pass. I think one time it was misting rain but not bad. There will be much better views without clouds and rain. Do it on a nice day and by all means get out and walk up to the lake. It will be on the right side of the road when you are going north. The views are great.

When you go to the Cliffs of M. look to the south and see the tower almost at the end of the point. Walk out to the tower, of course climbing over the 'danger, do not pass' signs. :)

We loved this area, three weeks one time and two weeks another.

We loved Conor Pass! Great views of Dingle Bay and over the other side of the mountain.

Conor pass is gorgeous... weather changes so much, so quickly that I would definitely plan on doing it.

If you have time hop Bill Obriens fast Room in ferry to Inis Oirr. It's only about 15-20 minutes away and a beautiful ride. On the small island take a pony cart tour - amazing shipwreck, the sunken church and a spectacular castle ruin. We went with Tomas and his horse Captain. What a super nice man. Your covered if there's a light rain. Beautiful .....we got some delicious local fudge and the hoped on the fast ferry back. Total time about three hours and so worth it !!
