Just a cultural curiosity question mostly....
This has happened with two different venues that I have contacted that require reservations. I contact them, there is a flurry of emails full of information back and forth that concludes with them saying something like "Send an email with X information and we will complete your reservation via email." I send the requested email and......nothing. I hear zero back from them.
Soooo....am I confirmed for the activity? Or not??
I have sent a second "So, am I confirmed?" email, still no response. These two venues are not related to each other at all. Is it just a thing in Ireland that my email with the information to confirm serves as the confirmation? I don't want to assume yes only to find out it's no, or to assume no to find out it's yes. Either assumption will lead to disappointment.
Anyone else have this happen??
