My husband and I will be in Ireland in September and will have three nights to spend around Connemara and Galway City. We were thinking two nights in either Roundstone or Clifden and one night in Galway City before heading to Dingle. Any thoughts on whether this is a good plan? Thanks!

While I love Clifden, there is more to see and do in Galway. I would do one night in Clifden and two in Galway. Two nights is only one full day.

Can't go wrong either way. If your preference is for the countryside then I'd spend the extra night in or near Clifden, otherwise there is indeed lots to see and do in Galway.
