Planning travel via bus from Galway to Clifden to Westport in August. Will have carry-on luggage. How realistic to get off in Clifden for brief stay (2-3 hours) for lunch and possibly some explore time with luggage, then catch bus to Westport for overnight stay. Reason for this route is to maximize views through Connemara, fijords etc? TIA

According to Google Maps, there is a tourist information office in Clifden, which is "temporarily closed" (maybe because it's winter?). When it reopens, you could call or email to inquire whether they allow left luggage. Or you could take your chances and stop in on the day to ask if there's anywhere around to leave your bags.
