Taking site closures into account, is it better to spend Dec24-26 in Dublin or in the countryside?

Dec 24th will be busy everywhere
Dec 25th will be very Quiet. Might have difficulty in getting Hotel / B&B 24th to 26th Consider renting a house anywhere
Dec 26th most places closed. Dingle Co Kerry will be busy, Wren day, Parade at 06.00 am, Yes 06.00 am

Thank you for the info in your reply, Pat. Can you advise on any open natural or historic sight on the 24-26 (Cliffs, Cashel, Etc.)?

All the Monuments will be closed
All public Depts will close between Dec 23rd and Jan 2nd

I expect the visitor centre at Cliffs of Moher will be closed, but there should be access to the cliffs.
Caution if stormy weather as its dangerous at the cliffs.

Thank you once again ,Pat, for all your helpful info. With limited travel time and the possibilities of lots of closures, we have decided to visit either in early spring or mid fall. Thank you again.
