Do you mean the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland?
Do you mean for a day? Or for several days and including lodgings and meals?
There might be some tours you could do to fill this need.

I have seen some of the Republic of Ireland so we would head to the North. When we saw the Republic, we were on a tour. We saw the highlights but I definitely feel we did not see things that we would have if we used Rick Steves back door approach. I am hesitant to drive in Ireland. I have traveled by train in Euripe and loved it

So yes, I am interested in visiting Northern Ireland for 7 to 10 days I am interested in renting a van with a tour guide or perhaps a group tour

There are a lot of companies that do small group tours

or search : private tours ireland
You can get them to plan your tour route . Changes can be made during the tours
Do not try to see the entire country in 7 days. too much car and not enough time to mingle and meet the people and to enjoy the hospitality
Suggest doing about 1/4 of the country. If first visit Fly into and out of shannon.
