My wife & I going to Ireland next month (September), we have Verizon as our provider here and they recommended getting a new sim card for our phone at the Dublin Airport. My question is what phone providers do they have and which is best?

Hi there,
I used an app called WhatsApp, its with facebook. I was able to call home free to friends and family that have the app.
Just needed hotel Wi-Fi or stopped into a restaurant or pub that had free Wi-Fi. Also great for messaging and sending pictures.
I didn't need to use my phone for any other contacts.

I have Verizon and if you have an iphone you can extend the plan you have at home to Europe for $10 per day and you will only be charged for the days you use it - no additional charge

We also just added to our home plan... we used wi-fi everywhere though so hardly used any data
