We've got a few days in September to have as a home base to explore the Antrim coast (Giants Causeway, Carrick a Rede bridge, dark hedges and more!). I'd love to get recommendations on where to stay. It's just my husband and I and we will have a car.

The Irish Landmark Trust has a number of unique properties scattered around the country, including several along the Causeway Coast.

Another vote for Bayview. We were going to stay there for one night and drive on. We liked it so much, we stayed three days. Superb people to deal with and a beautiful area.

Not along the Antrim coast, but a place we stayed at prior to driving the coast is The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn.
From it, we drove the coast stopping at Carrickfergus Castle, the causeway, the bridge, and taking a tour of Bushmills distillery. We also did a drive by of Dunluce Castle before spending the night in Portrush.
